Angel Martin

Angel Martin, 51, of Woodland, California, died Friday, August 3, 2018 in Baker City, Oregon.  A Celebration of her life will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 ~6pm at 1007 Woodland Avenue in Woodland, California. Friends are invited to join the family for a reception to be held immediately following the service.

Angel was born to Niki and Thomas Hess April 6, 1967 in Riverside, California.

In 1984, Angel married Randy Armstrong whom she had met through a friend. Together they had three children.          

She later married Ralph Martin, June 19, 1997. Sadly, after 13 years of marriage, he passed away at his home with Angel at his side.

Angel spent her working career as a caregiver which she was a natural at.  She lived many places including Oregon, Florida, Indiana, the Bahamas, St. Croix, and Texas.

Angel met Carry in August of 2011.  They fell in love and later became engaged. Each were looking forward to beginning a new chapter of life together.

Angel enjoyed garage saleing, going to the casino and spending time with family. She loved lilac bushes, yellow roses, and anything purple. Her biggest joys were the day her children and grandchildren were born. She will be remembered for being the most caring and giving person anyone’s ever met. She always put others before herself.

Angel was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Martin; son Cody James Armstrong; father Thomas Hess.

She is survived by her loving fiancé Carry Beckwith; daughters Amanda Martin, Krystal and her husband Robert Chavarria; grandchildren Hunter and Dalyla Chavarria; mother Niki Jo Buss and brother Thomas Hess Jr.
