Life with, and around, Steve was always entertaining and informative. I met him over 35 years ago and we became friends instantly...like many that knew him. He certainly had his challenges, but was never one to dwell on them....he seemed to approach every day with a smile and a laugh. Am sure I'm not alone in saying he leaves a huge hole in my life as his type is not apt to come this way again.

Luke, my heart is breaking for you and your family. Please give them my love. You all have meant the world to me. I often think about how lucky I was to be an honorary member of The Boles Family so many years ago. It was truly a gift. I will always love you all. I could never forget the kindness I was always shown. Christmas in Baker City and your Dad's amusement park ride drive thru Pyle's Canyon, Verla's amazing dinner and Bill's homemade ice cream are still some of my brightest memories. It's always been obvious how much you love your family and how much they love you. I hope you find comfort in that. I know I did.
*Hugs*
Love,
Megan

What a special guy this one was. Knew him but a short time but I will never forget him-he had a way about him that would make anyone happy to know him and I met him not too long before his last long trip. Vaya con dios Stevo-to know you was a great privelege.

The Maddens9Thomas, John and Suzanne) offer condolences to the family of Mr. Steven Boles, in particular to Luke who has been a friend to us, especially to John, for many years. Having read Mr. Boles's obituary, we clearly see who he was and how much of what we value in Luke comes through his family, especially his distinguished father. Luke's kindness, gift of gab, sense of humor, and positive outlook are gifts to us and others. We hope fond memories of Mr. Boles will be sustaining to Luke, all his family and friends.

I remember Steve so well. He was my "boyfriend" in the third grade, i think. I thought he was so cute. I broke up with him because he wanted to kiss me and I didn't want to kiss any boys back then. hahaha.... I moved away from Oregon when i was 16. But, Steve is part of the many rich memories I have of growing up in Baker.....He looks to have grown into such a lovely man.... I am so sorry for your loss. I won't forget him and I will be lifting you up to the GOD of Tender mericis in the coming days.

In the greatest respects. I send my condolences to all the family.
Mr. Boles was a wondwrful man. Who helped all people. There was never a dull moment with him. He made life so simple and always had great advice with so much wisdom in his teachings. He was the most loving and caring man. He always brightened up my day when i was having a moment of no hope. His smile was endless and his laughter was like contagious. I have had many great memories with him throughout our friendship.
With much love and respect leiloni
