Sherry Younger

Sherry Younger, 69, of Baker City, Oregon, died Monday March 26, 2018 at her home in Baker City, Oregon. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. 

Sherry was born to parents George and Helen Tilcock April 27, 1948 in Lynwood California.  She was raised in both California and Oregon, however, due to her father’s job, she lived all over the Western United States.  She eventually ended up in Sumpter, Oregon and graduated from Baker High school in 1966.

It was during her senior year that she met and fell in love with her high school sweetheart Allen Dee Younger.  They married November 4, 1967.

Sherry spent her life raising 3 great kids, Corey, Allena and Kristopher which was her proudest achievement.

She enjoyed yellow roses, ceramics and crocheting. Sherry loved animals, especially her dogs. She was a wonderful mom and grandma and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sherry was proceeded in death by her parents, a brother Donald Tilcock and sister Shirley Wilson.

She is survived by her husband Allen of 50 years; Sons Corey Allen and wife Ginger Younger of Baker City, Kristopher Evan and his wife Amy Younger of Baker City, Oregon; Daughter Allena Marie Morris and boyfriend Jim Pearson of Omaha, Nebraska; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
