Dude Upmeyer

When I was 4 years old my Dad had told me the story on how my dog had got his name.  He got his  name because my Dad had taken him to a party , and he had tipped over a cup of Budweiser and started drinking it.  When my Dad had come back in and seen him drinking it.  He's like your name is going to be Budweiser Dude.  When I was growing up with my dog, Dude, Every time I was feeling sad or depressed I would Always love on him.  One year we had gone out to help a gentleman clean up an old mine, and we were going to let one of our dogs out to follow the van up and Dude got out and started running, I got out and ran after him.  Another year our neighbor behind us, was drunk and opened up the gate and Dude got out and ran all the way to South Baker Elementary.  The next day a friend of ours had seen him down at South Baker Elementary and had called my grandma telling her that he was down there, so after church we went and got him and brought him home.  I have had Dude since I was 2 years old and he has been with me for 15 years and I am proud I could have him as a pet and a friend.  In loving memory of ...
